VAN builds
If you are thinking about doing a larger conversion, Mobl Vans can also do your entire build for you! We know that not everyone has the time, space or tools to do a full van build and we can certainly help you with that! We offer a premium build solutions with quick turn-around times.

SOUND DEADENING
Sound deadening absorbs vibrations and adds mass to the metal panels of your van. This process will make your van quieter as it will reduce the resonance of the metal panels, removing that tinny sound thin sheet metal panels have. This will reduce echo and make the inside of the vehicle a much more luxurious space. We always do a full installation that includes ceiling, floor, wheel arches, and all walls for the best results.
Thermal insulation
For the thermal insulation, we use a van liner that is a 10mm thick, lightweight thermal/acoustic barrier, designed to insulate the inside of vehicles. We apply this layer over the sound deadening material and it will improve the temperature efficiency of your van keeping it cooler in summer and warmer in winter. This is recommended if you are converting your van to a camper.
FLOOR
Our floors are tough and resistant. Made from marine grade ply it will withstand salt water, sand, and everything else you bring back from your adventures. For the lining, we use an anti-slip, heavy-duty, checkered plate rubber lining to help with water resistance and comfort when camping. This material is 3mm thick, extremely resistant to abrasion, and very easy to clean.
AUTOMOTIVE CARPET lining
Carpeting your van has multiple benefits as it adds another layer of sound deadening and acoustic performance inside the cabin. It will also improve your thermal insulation as it helps to block out all the openings in the walls and ceiling. We use an automotive-grade, UV stable, 4-way stretch carpet which is high-quality, flexible, and pliable to contour to the most complex surfaces.
2nd leisure battery
A second battery is recommended for people who want to use their vans for camping. This allows you to power your fridge, lights and charge your gear without draining your main battery. Tradesmen who need to be able to charge equipment on the go should also consider this option. There are multiple configurations to choose from and we will discuss each of them with you before lock-in your solution.
